About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoying life

ABOUT ME

I am a Chinese medicine practitioner aka acupuncturist. Healing is my life's work, it's my description because its' a huge part of who I am. Most of what I do to better myself is so that I can be happier and be a better healer. I am very open minded, outgoing, often crass and fun. I swear, I love, I do stuff and things..I'm outgoing enough to be able to converse with anyone for even a little while. I enjoy really great food that is prepared by thoughtful chef's.

A lot of my life, how I operate etc,. is fairly unorthodox. I'm non religious yet kinda spiritual in my own way, I don't believe in monogamy, I do believe in reincarnation, I value ritual,I don't keep my mouth shut when I morally disagree with something, I care about the planet and hope that I take care of it beyond lip service ( I can always be better!),I'm pretty liberal , I care about feminism and social change, I typically travel alone and I love animals. I try to have fun, be fun and enjoy life and not take it too seriously while still paying attention to injustice/suffering/etc and working to make the world a better place in my own way.

I'm not really into partying and drinking. Don't get me wrong, I'm not past having a drink every so often, it's just not the main goal of my life. I'm a burner but I don't wear the uniform.

PHILOSOPHY

My only real rule is to never do anything I can't admit openly too. It pretty much keeps me in line

One Amazing Thing I've Done

In Costa Rica I took this waterfall trek right after it had been raining all night. They warned us we may not make it thru, I had to walk thru rushing water, over rocks and moss to get to it. It was my 28th birthday and it was beautiful. For me it was awesome because I had never done anything like that before.
I also spent 2 months volunteering with www.mindfulmedicineworldwide.org in Nepal. Ask me about it!
