Hi!
I'm Ding, now a postgraduate student in Beijing. I major in Classics while I'm also quite interested in anthropology, archaeology and art history.
Travelling around and especially travelling alone means a lot to me. Those days in Rome and Suzhou as well as those talks I had in hostels with amazing young people still haunt me. I do enjoy exploring cities by bicycle or on foot, for there are always some awesome places and restaurants/bistros we don't know, which we will call them serendipities later.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm quite clean and easygoing, and I love meeting new people--it's a lot of fun to stay curious about this world. Going solo on road and living with different friends from all over the world grant me freedom and diversity, I just love trying new things and don't want to be confined to a mediocre life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love classical music, folk and OST, but I don't always follow a specific genre when I'm enjoying music. Douwei's Shanhediao is one of my favourites.
For movie, Trois couleurs: Blanc, Perfect Blue,Tokyo Godfathers,Comrades: Almost a Love Story... Satoshi Kon is the director I admire most.
