AND WHY I'M ON COUCHSURFING

I was an exchange student from 2011 to 2012 in Germany. It was a whole-year exchange programme.
That year was undoubtedly the best year in my life. Not only did I get to experience the amazing German culture, but also meet and make close friends with people from all over the world.
In that year, I lived with my host family in a small town called Stendal, which is located in Saxony-Anhalt.
Living with a host can make the most out of a journey - you do not only sightsee, but also really actually learn the culture by getting to know the people more deeply and experience the daily life of the locals.
2011-2012 was the best cultural exchange experience in my life, and I am looking forward to similar yet unique experiences in the soon future. :)
