I was born and raised in South Dakota. After 21 years I moved to California where I've been exploring the west coast over the last 4 years. I have been outdoor rock climbing for just over a year. I enjoy taking long hikes and recently foraged for mushrooms for the first time while hiking up north. My favorite place in California is a mineral spring atop a mountain across from Mt. Shasta. I work as a server at a find dining restaurant in Palo Alto and make pretty good money. I just cant stop moving! I must always go out and meet new people. I am deeply interested in experiencing new things and exchanging stories with strangers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am about to take a leave of absence and drive in my New but Used Toyota Previa :D to Okaboji where I plan to live with my puppy on a camp site or pay a nominal fee to stay at someones house for the summer as I work at Broccos. I'm going to try and get tickets to Burning Man in July but if I cant then I'm going to drive to New York with my friend. Depending on my funding after that I would also like to see Florida but if I can't afford it I will likely drive to Santa Rosa and settle down for the winter. I chose Santa Rosa due to an Indie Punk show I attended in a warehouse that turned into the largest naked dance party I have every been apart of. Group nudity can change the world lol

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year my apartment building started on fire so my roommate and I tied up a 200ft rope to a railing on the fourth floor and climbed to the ground. The fire department was already rescuing people when I woke up. When I opened the door to go down the stairs I was hit with a cloud of hot black smoke. After being sent into panic I was not willing to wait to be rescued.

What I Can Share with Hosts

While traveling I enjoy washing my hosts dishes or cleaning. I enjoy returning the kind gesture. I have a lot of stories to share if you fancy a glass of whiskey or your preferred drink and a late night.
