Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Conquering my two greatest fears within two days by (1) climbing two mountains in a row to face my fear of heights and (2) cannonballing into the black Atlantic Ocean at midnight to face my fear of drowning, which had haunted me since several near-drowning experiences as a young child. I really strongly remember the ocean experience. The water was jet-black and the surface was reflecting the pinpricked brilliance of a sky full of stars. As I moved my hands through the water, bioluminescent plankton in the water absorbed the energy and appeared to glow silvery white. It was as if I was swimming through the starry sky above me, because the black water was speckled with the glowing plankton. It was a truly beautiful and transformative moment, one I don't think I'll ever forget.
