ABOUT ME

I travel to learn more about the world, see its life and their connections, and learn from all of the being living here. I’m currently living in Medellín, Colombia. I love music of all sorts, especially when I'm making it with others and sharing that connection - I play drums and percussion. I love making art, drawing, painting, letting the colors flow. Some of my favorite things to do include hiking, x-country skiing, biking, camping, and on cliffs and mountains. down for adventure

PHILOSOPHY

I always try to think about the things I use and consume, where they come from, where they go when they leave me. everything from water to air, books to ideas. I want to work to relieve the burden of money from people's lives so that they can enjoy them, to learn and teach skills so that we don't have to buy. I believe everyone should live and enjoy their lives and their time, as long as they dont end up making more problems for others with the choices they make.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have not yet been in a position to host, but I have surfed in the USA and Canada while crossing the country. I can cook, discuss anything from art to politics to “human nature”. We can make music, sing songs, paint murals, draw, chat, chill, kick back, barbecue, bake, hike, walk, beach, explore abandoned buildings, whatever.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm relatively new to couchsurfing, I've stayed with folks in Oklahoma, Tennessee, Kansas, New Mexico, Louisiana, Toronto, and Detroit. Excited to do more couchsurfing, especially locally to better learn an area.

folk to funk, indie rock to hip hop to smooth electro grooves. I listen to anything from celtic fusion to a tribe called quest. the only genres I'm not too interested in are the ones that tend to flood the radiowaves, namely pop and modern rap... but I'm willing to listen to anything in new environments to see what's to be seen.

Lived in a government-run sugar factory/worker housing complex while on an archaeological survey project in the rural agricultural heartland of Turkey
