About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Saving as much money while still seeing all the sights Europe has to offer!

ABOUT ME

I am a very friendly guy looking for cool people to stay with. I am very easy going and comfortable in most social interactions. I love exploring new cities and people watching. I am an enthusiastic cook and house guest who is always willing to try new things and meet new people.

PHILOSOPHY

I strive to find as much joy in the everyday as possible. Meeting new people and seeing how they live is my ultimate goal in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am very new to this community, and am a willing adventurer looking to make new connections.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm brand new to couchsurfing in new people's homes, but have done so often in friends and extended friends houses. I'm excited for the opportunity to learn more about other's cultures and habits, and am looking forward to meeting the kind and gracious people who open their homes to strangers.

Interests

I LOVE food, drinking, back country hiking, map-making and reading. I also love to swim and relax near the water.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Rant by Chuck Palahniuk, Game of Thrones, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey, The Harry Potter series (sorry)
Music: Anything and everything! From West African big band to the doors. Some personal favorites are Arcade Fire, TuNe-Yards, Femi Kuti, and Little Dragon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking half of the John Muir Trail this past summer. 100 miles in 9 days really changes a person's perspective on their life and why they do what they do.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am an excellent cook and can show you a thing or two in the kitchen.
I have map-making skills with computer programs.
I can teach you CPR and limited first aid knowledge, as well as teach people how to swim.
