40 homes across the US & abroad. As of the last several years, 3 years were spent all over Brazil, and 4 years in Portugal (plus 1 month in Colombia & 1 month Spain).
I'd say I'm chill, thoughtful, minimalist, inquisitive, genuine and discovery-oriented. I like romance languages and cultures and I've been studying them since I was 15. Since then, I've taught myself fluent Portuguese, near-fluent Spanish and intermediate Italian. Most recently, I taught myself the Russian alphabet.
Treat others as you wish to be treated.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Smaller groups (I ran a group in Rio and co-ran one in Lisbon), one-on-one, activity-based. I don't host, but I can get a coffee.
If we're talking ideas, theories and concepts, I've usually got a lot of them floating around my head. In terms of interests, I have many and often don't have time to fully explore them all.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I studied other cultures like there was no tomorrow. Lived in Brazil a few times, doing the rounds in slums & small towns. Arose with the sun and sauntered down the stony side streets of Paris, wandered through the Roman ruins of Lisbon, been witness to the beauty of the Andorran autumn, played chicken on the roads of Brussels, swam in the Amazon, road my motorcycle with no hands, drove down the coast of Colombia with no license and fell in love with New Orleans in the fall.
I've lived too many places to count, taken flights at the drop of a hat and cut my path where there was none.
