Hello, I'm very interested in travels around the word. When I was young, I visited Pacific islands as New Zealand and Vanuatu and Solomon islands, town as Sydney, Bangkok, Istanbul. I was born in Nouméa, New Calédonia, I lived between my 7 and 10 y-olds in french Guyana and since I was 15, I have been living in France ( Nantes, Paris, and now Nîmes). I like to travel and to meet people. I went to Philippines to do archeological project in 1999 and I really like this contact with Asia. I visit Europe with my family too, especially Italy and Spain. I'm married and I have 2 daughters ( born in 2003 and 2008).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Despite I have a small flat in Nimes center, Im ready to welcome some travelers if they accept to sleep on the living room floor or in the bedroom of my daughters!
And my brother used Couchsurfing to go to Canada , he was very happy so as I travel some times, I'm ready to try too!

Interests

I read a lot of novels ( american novels), I'm interested in History and ethnology and cooking and listening to music. I like to go to the theater and I go to the cinema at least once a week !

I can't answer: Carson Mac Cullers, John le Carré for example; Clint Eastwood, Robert de Niro, Bernard Blier, Maurice Ronet and so much others actors! Gene Tierne, Barbara Stanwick, Susan Sarandon, Isabelle le Carré, Romy Schneider and.... I'm fan of Starwars or James Bond series; I like the U2, the rolling stone, Placebo, Agnès Obel the classical music too, Queen, Jordi Saval, Lorenna Mc Kennit ....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed on the top of the Yasur volcano ( Tanna Island, south of Vanuatu) when I was 14 and It was the most incredible thing I have seen and heard; the hart of the Earth, la "lave", the stones jumping through the airs. and the people "small nambas" dancing around us when we were down the volcano.Other thing I see: an old man in the Palawan island (Philippines) showed me how to make a fire with stones he had in its pocket; we were in 1999 and he told me that "matches are not good"
