Hello there. My name is Adrian. I'm 25-years old, born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. I've been traveling the world since I was 14, have been to China, Thailand, Philippines, Mexico, Laos and now Japan.

I always like to maintain respect for other people, I never like creating bad vibes.

Not a religious person, but quite spiritual. And yes, there is a difference.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I arrived in Osaka, Japan with intention of staying in a Zen Buddhist monastery for 2 months. I arrived there and knew immediately I was in deep water. It wasn't the kind of spiritual cultivation process I had imagined and hoped for.

Instead, it was 8 hours a day of hard labour, 4 hours of sitting until my legs were stabbed with needles, and 3 meals a day of tasteless food that I wasn't allowed to eat, but had to inhale in under 5 minutes. Naturally and without hesitation, I left.

Now I'm stuck in Kansai International with no where to go. My return flight is on December 8th. I always have the option of rebooking my ticket and going home, but I feel it would be a massive waste.

I absolutely ADORE Japan and its culture, and would love to hang around and experience as much as I can. Am also hoping for some kind of work, like teaching English to earn money and pay my way around.

Hopefully, someone generous and looking for someone interesting to keep them company will read this and send me a message. These benches in Kansai are pretty uncomfortable. Hahaha.

Rescued a beached dolphin in the Philippines, kept it in a shallow pen to force feed it fish and fresh water and administer medications (with a trained veterinarian) and after 1 week released it back into the ocean when it had its' strength back.
