About Me

Short, four eyes, loves the outdoors, meows at people sometimes (no I'm not weird, I like to gauge people's reactions). Works at one of the best retailers around: REI. If you've never heard of it, then you don't go outside too often. We haz the things you need to have a blast outdoors. On my way to become an EMT because why not? Pretty laid back person who gets along with most peeps. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Instead of amazing, I'll say a very sketchy thing I've done: attempted to hike Mt Tom in Bishop, CA with a friend. We started at 2am and didn't leave the mountain until past 8PM. We couldn't go back on 395 north because there were tire chains required and we had a rental car, so we ended up driving south on 395, headed towards Bakersfield so that we can take 99 north and kept driving all the way up until we hit Sacramento. That ended up being a 9 hour drive. We didn't get back home until 6am. I barely remember the drive back as we were both physically and mentally drained from the hike. We would switch off every 30 mins to drive because we couldn't stay awake for very long. It was stupidly scary. The reason we couldn't stay an extra night in Bishop was that my friend had work the following day and we had a set 3 day of doing this mountain. Day 1: arrive there, Day 2 :we hike the mountain in one push, Day 3: comfortably return on the drive back. However, the day we were supposed to hike the mountain the conditions were pretty poor and we couldn't start. The Day we were supposed to leave we decided to do a hard push up the mountain and drive that same day after the hike. Worst. Decision. Ever.

The End.
