About Me
Well.... I'll start with 5 things I couldn't live without!
I'm a girl who loves to love.
5 things I couldn't live without:
1.) God...this is an obvious but I wouldn't even want to be able to live without Him. He is absolutely amazing and I love giving my life to Him to use.
2.) My family and that absolutely includes my friends from all over the world. My family grows all of the time and it's amazing!
3.) Traveling....new places, new faces, new adventures....The more uncomfortable, random, and weird the more in my element I am.
4.) Music- If I could put into words how much music means to me I would question how much it means to me. Truly it adds the depth, flavor, and beauty to everything and anything I do.
5.) Nature- In no way is this last but least... It is where I find my sanity, my hope for the future, and rest!
I would say my style of living and traveling are much the same......
Keep my eyes open to see the beauty all around me. Beauty in people, sites, nature, interactions, smells, sounds, and all of life in general. I want to not only be in the moments I am blessed to have, I want to experience them and feel them so that they can't and won't slip away.
I don't live to work, I work to live.
Living to me looks like traveling and meeting new people, seeing new places, and learning new lessons! It doesn't get much better than that!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I live to travel....see new things....meet new people....so why not do it all at the same time! 😊
It also is so exciting to get the chance to open up my place to host others here in the epic city of Chicago! I'm new to Chicago but I have definitely fallen in love with the sights and the people.
When I have to work and I can't travel, why not bring those into my home who have the joy and excitement travel brings all over them. It gives me the chance to see where I live with new eyes and ears. I honestly wish I would have thought of couch surfing myself. It is such a wonderful idea and experience.
Interests
As said above I love music, nature, people, reading, singing, playing guitar, hiking, rafting, swimming, trying new foods, hearing peoples opinions on life, breathing, sleeping.....pretty much most things are interesting!
Music, Movies, and Books
I love really all music that is made with passion, creativity, and talent! Just a small variety of artists I love includes Ben Harper, Bon Iver, XX, Joss Stone, and so much more.
I love any and all books concerning WW2 and the Holocaust, sadly I do love getting lost in the young adult fiction books and game of thrones as well as the Hobbit also are books that I get lost in!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
such a hard question.....
I rode and ostrich in Thailand!

What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversation full of openness and honesty. I love conversations with those who are willing to hear differing opinions and acknowledge them. I would say that I am one to hear differing opinions and respect and openly listen and learn from those around me.
A singing partner. I have said many times, I think my memory fails me based on having filled my brain with far too many song lyrics. I love to sing and have all of my life.
Cooking. I may not be fantastic in the eyes of a chef, but I can hold my own and I love cooking for others.
A listening ear. I love love to learn about others. About your life, joys, struggles, pain, and future plans.
Cleaning. If you will let me I love to do the dishes. It's actually an odd pleasure of mine. :)
A down to earth friend that will not forget about you and your generosity in hosting me or allowing me to host you!
