About Me

To see as much of the planet and as many of its inhabitants as I can in my short, human lifespan.

I'm a nomad at heart. I fiercely desire to spend the rest of my life exploring the exotic corners of this fantastically diverse planet. However, there are many skills that I wish to acquire that require a sedentary lifestyle. So I temper my wanderlust with sporadic bouts of settled city existence. If I can't be actively traveling myself, I love to surround myself with those who are.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As soon as I have a couch, it will be open to the CS community. Until then, I'll share all the knowledge and experience I've gained in my extensive global travels. As a constant student of the lessons of life and other people's experiences, I'm equally open to learning from anyone else with an open mind, honest heart, and insatiable soul.

I've couch surfed on six of the seven continents. I'm abundantly grateful to those brave souls who've extended trust and hospitality to a total stranger.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Attending the Festival Au Desert in 2008 was a phenomenal experience. Getting to and from the festival required battered taxis, boats, airplanes, 4x4s, and camels. I accompanied my musician friends as their documentarian for this extraordinary voyage into the fierce heart of the Sahara desert.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love infecting others with my contagious humor and lust for life. Sharing yoga, language, culinary skills, and art is super keen.
