My name is Angelica and I am a dreamer. I dream of being everywhere. I love meeting people and hearing their stories and how they contribute to the world. I love sharing my experiences and I truly enjoy listening to others experience. I love food and I most definitely love eating.I am currently a student working on a bachelors degree for an International relations and french degree. I plan to learn Arabic next. I love Latino music and I enjoy dancing.

This is my first time on couch surfing so I have not contributed much but I can say that I am open and accepting and interested in people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One moment that was very emotional and left me in shock was in Mexicali when I met a family who lived in a one bedroom except there was no roof and the walls were not walls. The walls were made of garbage, wood and other materials that were found in the dumpster. One went to the bathroom outside because there was no plumbing. The stove was a garbage can and there was no electricity and no form of transportation. The mother was an only mother with six children. They lived cramped up in one bed and the children were young. Only four of the children were the womans children but she took the other two because they were orphans. For a living the woman sold candy apples in the streets. Even with their living conditions, the mother always had a positive attitude and she was also very giving. She had little but she was very welcoming.

I like meeting people who have had struggles because with struggle comes growth. People who have struggled view the world differently and I truly enjoy hearing how they have evolved into different people. I also enjoy meeting people who have had a lot of experiences traveling. I would like to hear about their crazy experiences and how they dealt with different cultures that were not their own.
