ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Zimbabwe before having to look for greener pastures. I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town in South Africa. I have been in the UK for 4 years gaining that ever important experience. I've decided to take some time out to travel while I still can, as so many wish they had. Growing up in Zimbabwe I had a very active outdoor-orientated upbringing, and am still very active. When permitted, most of my time is taken up by surfing and Capoeira, inter-mingled with travel. I’m a very easy going guy with a lot of energy and a love of life. I am hoping to get a feel for the people, the culture and the environment I visit.I'm equally comfortable in the kitchen and around the house as I am in a workshop.

PHILOSOPHY

Too often we tend to judge...in truth we all have something to learn from everyone out there...just give them a chance...Carpe diem!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I´ve just been told of this site by a fellow traveller, while trekking down the East coast of Brazil, through Bahia, destination; Rio, Florianopolis, Buenos Aires then across to Chile and up the west coast to Peru. Hence I am a virgin to this site but would love to do what I can to contribute.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Fortunate enough to be able to enjoy an endless summer for 12 months from Australasia to following the swell around Europe in a camper and finally finding my journey in South America...its really the people I have met that have and continue to make it so amazing...
