About Me

Back and forth across the USA to network and attend some conferences... trying to stop human trafficking... you know...

A Jesus-lover, truth-seeker and budding abolitionist. Born in the USA. Raised in Europe and Africa. Passionate about people, justice, and right relationships.

I live my life for Love. Not the love that the world gives, because that is fleeting and unfulfilling at its core. I live to know the eternal love of God. I seek to know the height, depth, width, and breadth of that Love- to be filled with it- and to give it to others. I think Love will transform the world from the inside-out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm new to this couch surfing thing, but I'm interested in looking for a couple of couches on my upcoming journey across the USA.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As a child, I rode horseback through a herd of zebra and wildebeest. I've climbed baobab trees to watch the sun rise over the Indian ocean. I've built shelters and camped in the African bush - cocooned myself in a hammock in the Amazon jungle - and slept high above the ground, my back to bamboo slats in the villages of Cambodia. I've seen blind eyes healed! I've been set free from a history of sadness and depression and bitterness. I've found a hope that makes my life joyful!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to share about the One who makes my life complete. I can play the guitar and teach basic chords. I have tutored many English-as-a-second-language students in conversational English. If you want to dialogue on sustainable development strategies, I'm all ears. If you have business start up ideas for encouraging industry in developing nations, let's talk!

Countries I’ve Visited

Brazil, Canada, China, Gibraltar, Morocco, Netherlands, South Africa, Spain, Swaziland, Thailand, Uganda

Countries I’ve Lived In

Cambodia, Mozambique, Portugal, Sudan, United States
