About Me

Hi, I'm a friendly Polish-British girl with a big dream, who loves meeting new people and exploring.

We all learn about ourselves throughout our lives. No matter how old you are, it's never too late to discover new passions, interests and things about yourself (most surprising sometimes). I've become passioned about travelling and I'm about to start an exciting journey. I hope to meet some of you on the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to think it's not about free accommodation, but about meeting interesting, inspiring, travel-thirsty people. I hope they
will enjoy my company too.

*Travelling (it's becoming my biggest obsession),

*running (I've done few 10k and half marathons so far... hoping to complete my first marathon soon; I'm not super competitive, I just simply enjoy it; I take my running shoes everywhere I travel to and run at least 5k there),

*hiking (planning to do parts of the TA in New Zealand and then hopefully head to Canada and Argentina; and then back in Scotland)

*cycling (I simply enjoy it; it clears my head like nothing else)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I was brought up on Pink Floyd, I enjoy music by Meshell Ndegeocello;

Some of my favourite books include: "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley; "The Shadow of the Wind" by Carlos Ruiz Zafon (I wish I could read it for the first time, again); "Let my people go surfing" by Yvon Chouinard; "Lolita" By Vladimir Nabokov;

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got rid of the car and cycled to work every day for the last 5 years (I'm definitely not a fair weather cyclist).

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm currently studying for the CIPS Diploma in Procurement and Supply
