ABOUT ME

Me as a person:

I am a friendly, outdoorsy kind of person who loves and cherishes his friends and family. At the same time I also am someone who values his and others' personal space and knows to take and give space and freedom.

I enjoy exploring anything and everything that life offers and try to learn and revel in every moment. I enjoy being with people of wit and sense of humor.

I love traveling and exploring places and appreciate the ethos and culture of the places that I have the good fortune of being in. And of course I am always enthused to try new cuisines and experience the gastronomic delights/specialties from everywhere :-)

I have been brought up in a modern, liberal environment with a massive respect for personal choice, trust, education, independence and encouragement to explore oneself in all one's dimensions.

I have recently surfed with my wife at a very nice host's place. My first experience has been so good that I am inspired to host/guide others too. :-)

My hobbies and activities:

I have been a badminton player for about 16 years. Hung up my racket on moving to Bangalore in 2003 but I continue to exercise in the gym and Yoga and take care of my fitness.

I also am undergoing training in classical ballet and jazz dancing and also ballroom, latin dancing. I have performed on stage on quite a few occasions. I am also certified with distinction in the latin and ballroom styles from the UK Alliance for Dance (Blackpool).

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Quite a few actually:
- a beautiful month long road trip along the western coast of India
- many treks in the Sahyadri hills and jungles of Western India in Maharashtra, with a few spots that had us literally on the edge of cliffs hanging on with our fingers and toes :-)
- scuba diving
- hikes in the Himalayas in Uttarakhand
- white water rafting at Rishikesh
- Vipassana meditation in Sikkim along with few days travel in the lovely mountains there :-)
