CURRENT MISSION

For some time, I've had this sense of waywardness, to a point where my life had, to me, become dull and uninteresting. Rather than fit to society's mold, I decided to start traveling. To see the world and gain experience mostly, but also to see life lived

ABOUT ME

I would rather have the summation of my personality fall into the hands of someone else, but here it goes. I was raised in a christian home. There was lots of love, but also lots of fear. I couldn't go out to hang out a lot when I was a kid. Once I became older I decided to see the world, and began travelling when I became of age. Until recently though, I had been staying close to home, not really going to far. But now I want to see as much as possible. I read books, but not as many as I used to, since being on the road takes up a lot of attention. I attempt to write from time to time, but I'm also using this as a means for inspiration and expansion of thought. Music has become a major part of my life as of late, and I'll spend a good amount of the day just wailing on my guitar. I used to carry a penny whistle too, but its on a hillside somewhere in Chino... Other than that I just try to have a good time. I'm usually pretty quiet, and I'm very peaceful. Although I don't believe in Christianity anymore, I still apply a lot of the belief into my life, since its some good reading. I'm cheap too, haha. But in all seriousness, I'm more of an observer, for now at least.

PHILOSOPHY

A hard question to answer at the moment. I'd want to say I have a humanist perspective towards life, but it is only parts of that thinking which guide me. For the time being, as long as the human body is the vessel for my soul (if not the only one)then I will always take into consideration the perspectives of those around me. As to the purpose of my life, I am still seeking an ultimate purpose, for I feel there is one just beyond my current sight. As for now, I will play music to encourage happiness and I hope to make at least one person think a little differently, as all people help me to think differently in turn.

I'm still new to this, but I suppose I'll do my best to interact as much as possible with other surfers, and who knows, maybe I'll get to meet everybody someday.

Intereses

Music, books, art, and all that jazz. Anything concerning creativity, I guess. Philosophy is a good one, since the questions some pose really get one thinking. Learning a new trade or skill always piques my interest as well. Stories of good times, and laughing people always get my mood up.
