One foot in front of the other--through leaves, over bridges
I've been living in Brooklyn for the past three years, doing all sorts of odd jobs, and traveling to Germany and Chicago a lot to visit friends. I take pictures for magazines sometimes and drive a delivery truck sometimes and I'm itching to get out of the city and into the country.
You only live once.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've never been a couchsurfer before, officially, but most of my travel experience has involved me sleeping on couches and floors and in hostels. The people I've met along the way have made all the difference!
photography, art, history, literature, music --
all the usual things, and also grass, trees, cheetahs, mountains, snow, the sun, the moon
Music, Movies, and Books
Royal Tenenbaums, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, A Prophet, Enter the Void (blew my mind), The Dark Knight, No Country For Old Men
I like all sorts of music. There's always something on in my house:
Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, Animal Collective, Jimi Hendrix, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, Nas, OutKast, Lykke Li
And the same goes for books. I have a massive amount of books and I am currently in the middle of everyone.
At the moment I'm reading Kavalier and Clay, The Tree in the Forest, The Jungle, a biography of Harry Houdini and always some Henry Miller book
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 22 I suddenly left home and backpacked around Argentina for a month with no plan, speaking practically no Spanish. Best decision of my life.
Countries I’ve Visited
Argentina, Australia, Germany, Israel
