to see. to learn. to connect. making my way through europe for the summer to continue post-graduation escapism.
Recent college graduate with a need (that many can empathize with) to get out of town and see what's up in the world. College was rad, but it's time to move on. I hope to "settle" in San Fransisco in the near future (and when I do, couches for everyone!) and work in human services. try to get people houses and food and while bringing down the bureaucratic bullshit that is american capitalism.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I haven't yet-- this is my first go around in the couch surfing world. Would love to surf while traveling Europe-- save some money from over priced hostels and meet some world citizens in the process. No other way to get to know a city than sleep on a local's couch, right?
But I can say, once I am out of mom and dad's house and (hopefully) in the San Fransisco area, my couch is your couch.
I do crossword puzzles.
I also (once crossword puzzle is completed) read the news, read books, be outside, be with people who I can talk to and be real with. I drink beer. I enjoy day drinking. I play ice hockey. I enjoy being up to date with current events from around the world and following grassroots movements that take power and shove it in the face of its beholders. I follow baseball and hockey, they are my guilty pleasures. The mass marketing is gross and professional athletes are overpaid and obnoxious about it. But there's nothing like an afternoon game at Yankee Stadium. I like to laugh.
