ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Balikpapan, East Borneo, Indonesia (NUSANATARA). It's a completely comfort city unlike anywhere I've travelled before. It's tropical, refinery and the land of the OIL and GAS. Growing up in such a strange place has given me a deep appreciation for travel and all of the worlds hidden gems. I worked a part time job since I was 14 years old and saved every penny, and now as student of EEPIS (Electronics Engineering Polytechnic Institute of Surabaya) Now I'm enjoying all that hard work and travelling around the middle hemisphere call katulistiwa, starting with a working holiday in banjarmasin! I'm loving every moment. I live for the outdoors. Walking among ancient trees, naps on mossy forrest floors, bathing in glacial streams, canoeing on forgotten rivers, hiking up volcanoes, bushwhacking through jungle, I LOVE IT ALL.
I also deeply enjoy meeting and experiencing new people. Especially those who are quite different from myself. Couchsurfing is an excellent way to make genuine connections with other humans that go beyond the generic "where are you from?'" and "where have you been?" questions that get asked at every hostel. I feel like couch surfing offers a chance to get to know people deeper and more authentically.
I'm a respectful, calm and happy person :)
