About Me

My current mission is to improve my English skills and get fluency. Besides, I wanna try new experiences and know different places/people. :)

Basically, I'm a shy Asian girl who was born in Brazil and is trying to get fluent in English by traveling the US on vacation (a long vacation of 4 months!).
I quit my job and came to the US in order to visit my sister, who lives and works here, and I'm struggling a lot to open my mind and my heart to all these new experiences. I am trying to find something new in my life, so I think it's a unique moment in my life that I want to spend doing special things with special people. Wanna be part of my journey? :)

I'm kind, open minded, very clean, a little reserved and not so talkative, and I really love to listen to interesting stories. But when I feel comfortable with the person I am talking to, I can talk more and smile/laugh a lot.

Ah, also, I love animals, mainly cats hehehe. Definetly I'm a cat person. So if you have animals home it's not a problem at all, I'll love it :)

Be resilient. Pain must be an incentive to grow, not a motive to get down. Life is choice.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This will be my 1st experience as a couch surfer, so can't wait, I'm really looking forward to it :)

Asian culture and languages (Japanese, Korean, Chinese), good music, piano, animals, literature, taekwondo, cycling, good food (food addicted, haha)...

Music, Movies, and Books

Haruki Murakami's books.
Melodic and Progressive Metal, 70's and 90's rock/pop, Japanese pop and rock, Korean pop.
Thoughtful movies, like Kim Ki-duk's.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made a suicidal friend forget about this idea. Not because I think suicide is a bad thing (life is a choice, again), but I made him take a long look inside himself and see what he had conquered until that moment. It took some years, but today he is fine :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Japan, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
