I'm curious. About most things that concerns life and living beings. I like when my worldview is challenged, altered and negotiated through new experiences. So that's why I travel, study, meet people, go hiking, watch movies, dance in the streets, listen to music, talk for hours (to myself or to others - usually to others), eat, swim, paint, drink, read, dream...
Is created and changed every day.
Music is essential. Music is to me a way of travelling in itself. I'm so fortunate to sing in a very good choir in Norway and have experienced the enormous strength there is in a unity of voices. Dancing, yoga, meditation or other forms of connecting body and mind is also something I really appreciate and need. Eating and drinking - aah, what pleasures that lies in that! I'm a coffee-gourmet and love well made coffee. And ice-cream. Indeed.
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: My Neighbor Totoro, Kieslowski's Dekalog, V for Vendetta, Amelie, Tarantino, Lion King, Harold and Maude, Cohen Brothers, Freaks, Almodóvar, Fahit Akin, Fight Club...
Music: Aahhh...so much. Classical, noise, pop, rock, soft, hard, popular, marginal - the list goes on and on. From Bob Dylan to Bach and Brahms.
Books: that makes me think twice. Hermann Hesse, Dostoyevskij, Roald Dahl, Jack Kerouac, Kafka, Simone de Beauvoir, Murakami...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bungy jumping in Nepal from a bridge down to a river is the most amazing bodily experience I've ever felt. One amazing thing I see every day is my body moving by the will of my thoughts.
