I love traveling and my mission is to visit all UNESCO World Heritage Sites around the World, I know it's a tough challenge but I'm willing to keep giving it a try. It's wonderful to meet people from other places of the world to know how they live. I love to get in touch with different cultures.
I'm now back to Rome after over 4 years in Thailand where I was a physics and maths teacher. I loved my job because I got to meet amazing people (my students!) and I had a lot of time off, which is great for traveling.
I love the emotions other people and cultures can give you! Please don't take CS like a "free hostel"...it is much more than only free accommodation! It is having good friends all around the world! If your idea matches with mine...you have a new friend!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I WILL NO LONGER ANSWER to messages from people who haven't read my profile or write copy-paste messages with no personality!
Couchsurfing is all about meeting people, not sleeping for free.
I'm on Couchsurfing to share my experiences with interesting people from all over the world who have experiences to share with me. I strongly believe that a world populated by real Couchsurfers would be a better place to live in.
I couchsurfed in several countries: UK, Spain, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Poland, Romania, Moldova, Hungary, Ireland, Austria, The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Turkey, Vietnam, Australia, India and more.
I've also met so many couchsurfers from all around the world and I hosted travelers in Rome, Finland and Australia, from many different countries such as: Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Poland, Australia, Finland, Mexico, USA, Bulgaria, Canada, Colombia, Germany, Norway, Italy, etc.
I love to meet people from all over the world and to know different cultures, sharing experiences, telling and listening to everyone's life story.
Environment and sustainable development and technologies.
Living creatures, wildlife and nature.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One wouldn't be enough. Living in Thailand for 4 years working as a teacher. Getting lost in the forest in Laos. Swimming with the whale shark in the Philippines. Seeing the orangutan free to roam in the jungle in Borneo. Releasing new born baby turtles into the ocean. Climbing up Mt. Bromo in Java during an eruption. Wandering around the temples in Siem Reap and Bagan. Crossing 7 countries, with 7 different currencies in 10 days. Enjoying an amazing Belgian beer while eating the best French fries I've ever had in Brussels. And much more...
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm about to start a blog about my adventures in search of the UNESCO Heritage Sites around the world. I'll post the link here as soon as a few posts are up for reading.
