COUCHSURFING REQUEST GUIDELINES:
-You *must* read through the entire profile of your desired host.
-You should send a thoughtful, detailed message describing why you are visiting, and what you can offer to the host (not money) but something like food, toilet paper, help exchanges like cleaning/gardening etc.
-We are inviting you into OUR personal homes. We don't just do it for anyone. If you simply send me a message asking for a place to stay, it will be ignored. This is not a place to just find somewhere to sleep for free.
-You need to market yourself and make it so we WANT you to stay at our place. Put some effort into your messages, people!
Please include the word "MOPO" in your message so I know you have read this.
I am self-reliant and passionate. But I know it's okay to ask for help. I'm on a path for myself; I stumble upon beauty, happiness, and confidence; I flourish because I follow what I believe in, and I learn from all my experiences. I know what it means to struggle, and I find beauty in small things.
I enjoy listening to music. Every day I listen to lots and lots of music.
I am a poet. And an artist. I have an eye for beautiful things and people. I love to admire the body of a lover, the shape of a tree branch, a deteriorating building, or colorful ingredients.
I grew up in a town where the 'minority' was the majority. My friend groups consisted of every race. Hispanic, African American, Asian, Indian, White, Mixes-- I thrive on diversity. I thrive on learning about how we all connect in the world as human beings.
I am an adventurer. I love being impulsive, going on spontaneous jaunts. I always say Yes! to quests and small journeys! I enjoy making things, laughing out loud, smiling until my face hurts.
I am a solar-powered, beautiful, confident, indulgent, considerate, somewhat enigmatic, bookworm.
Positivity and happiness attracts more happiness. The more love you give, the more you receive. When you truly have nothing, it is only then when you can appreciate, truly appreciate the generosity and beauty of simplicity and the kind acts of others. Never possess any human being. Allow oneself to flourish as you will. Share your good will and your dreams with others. Inspire strangers. Kiss someone and mean it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When you couchsurf, you live multiple lives.
I keep an open-mind and breathe-in this world. I've couchsurfed through Montreal/Quebec in the summer of 2010. I've hosted many at my dorm, house. I couchsurfed in the Philippines this past summer, too! Hopefully I can host other travelers while I am in my last semester of college.
I lived with the most wonderful host family in the suburbs of Montreal all summer (2010)!
I've also surfed with multiple people in Montreal that same summer.
Hosted Yaas from France, and Ian the Yoga DJ. Couchsurfed in Greece, the Philippines, New York, Melbourne, Sydney...
