I am a very out going person who loves people. I get a lot out of meeting and talking with new friends. Always looking for new things to learn and new places to explore. I am somewhat of a smart ass and my humor level may overwhelm some but I love it!! I have been building homes and working on the water since I was 17. I have traveled the country and lived in many states, I never see a stop to finding new places and new friends. I will always find an excuse to workout, laugh, cook, and enjoy a tasty beverage!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In the marine construction trade we tend to work out of town. Being unlike most people I do not like to stay in hotels. I'd rather explore the area, meet the people, and eat all the great food.

Hardly am I ever looking for a couch to stay on, as my truck is outfitted very well. It's usually a spot to park for the night and maybe a yard to spend the evening relaxing and BBQ'ing on the Big Green Egg (ceramic grill).

Interests

When home I spend a great amount of time I'm my wood shop building furniture, cutting boards, carving spoons, or making creative art pieces. Also spend countless hours cooking,smoking, and grilling. The kitchen is most definitely my favorite room in the house

I grew up in a coastal town with acres and acres to explore, and to this day I have never stopped. The list is always accepting new ideas but pretty much mountain biking, road biking, surfing, paddle boarding(prone), bouldering, hiking, spelunking, and really anything I can get my hands on.

Music, Movies, and Books

Let's see this is a hard one as it always changes depending on moods.

I'll stick with music

A lot of bluegrass, folk, and blues. Yet I love electronic, reggae and country ass well. I'll need some metal and hip hop Crome time to time. All over the map for me. Same with movies, I don't watch tv so anything goes. It's usually cooking shows if I do the netflix.

If it needs fixed I can do that. Helping people is another thing that brings me great joy. I have gained these skill so why not use and share them!
