ABOUT ME

I am just me. I'm a grounded yet confident girl. I have 2 cats, Lexus and Bentley. I hate coffee-mocha-frappe-crappe whatevers... anything with coffee in it, but I LOVE the smell! I prefer Pepsi over Coke. I believe in giving to charity regularly. I think I'm the only girl in this world who actually HATES 80's music, now that I think about it... it's EVERYTHING 80's really. I can tie a cherry stem in a knot with my tongue in less than 8 seconds. I'm a Vodka girl but love a GOOD Mojito... mmm. I hate the sound and feel of cotton balls, eew, it creeps me out. My mom is one of my very best friends. I think umbrella's are stupid! I change into sweats & a hoodie the moment I walk in the door. I love wearing hats and shopping at thrift stores. I HATE pointy toed shoes, skinny jeans & DESPISE mustard above anything else! I DON'T think all babies are beautiful... now I'll probably be cursed with the fugliest baby ever! Yes, I did just used the word fugly. :) I love roller coasters & thunderstorms & reading a good book & chocolate milkshakes & a good quote & the show Weeds & Marilyn Monroe & my Jayhawks sweatshirt & staying up late & sleeping in late & colored walls & white down comforters & traveling & camping & white water rafting & lions & tigers & bears... Oh My!!!

PHILOSOPHY

I try and live my life by this, my adapted (shortened) philosophy...
Do unto others as you'd have done unto you. Pay back your debts. Respect others and their feelings. A hug or a kind word can NEVER hurt. If you don't have anything nice to say, shut your effen trap. Apologize when your wrong. Pick your battles. And if you can't handle me at my worst, you don't deserve me at my best.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been a pediatric burn and pediatric ICU nurse for the last 11 years. I love it!
And to be honest... the littlest things amaze me. I think that's part of the joy of life.
