My name is Albert and I'm an 18 year old teenager from Barcelona, Spain. I am currently at university, ready to begin my major in Spanish Language and Literature. I'm an amateur traveller and a curious museum-goer. Above all, I am very openminded, kind, clean, friendly and trustworthy. I can't wait to explore new sights and meet beautiful human beings wherever I might travel, specially if it's a country I've scarcely or never visited before. I hope you feel the same way!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided to join the couchsurfing family because I run low on money income, and yet I feel an insatiable desire to see the world. Me and my best friend are willing to take on adventures around Europe together, and we figured couchsurfing would provide us a platform not only to go places cheeper, but also to get in touch with friendly locals who to build bonds with and get advice from. Besides, I find this initiative very attractive and perfectly familiar.

Interests

My main interests include reading and writing, photography, playing the piano, acting, visiting museums, listening to music, being with friends, literature and art in general, getting to know others and, obviously, travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books

I do not have a particularly favourite band or singer, but my list would include: Bastille, fun, Lykke Li, The XX, Haim, Lorde, Lana del Rey, Perfume Genius, Anohni, Dead Man's Bones, Marina and the Diamonds, Grimes, The Drums or Now Now, amongst many others. I particularly enjoy alternative, non-fantasy cinema, most specifically drama or tragicomedy. I am fond of Murakami, Christopher Paolini, C.S. Lewis and Carlos Ruiz Zafón. I love poetry too.
