ABOUT ME
I'm a very loving and compassionate person. I can get along with almost anyone and love finding things in common. I also love to smile and I'm just generally a really positive person. I love to travel and grew up in California, USA. I moved to Vancouver, Canada for college. Graduated there and then moved to Saint Petersburg, Russia for a year. I spent a few more years in California with my family, then moved to Alaska with my boyfriend at the time. That boyfriend turned into my husband and we moved back to California together to pursue some an amazing business opportunity with some incredible people. We're bothin grinding at 9-5 jobs right now, but we'd love to host someone if our schedule works out. Weekends are best, but we can definitely do weekdays if you have something to do during the day.
I'm a very gentle and relaxed person, but I'm also down for a party or any sort of new adventure. I love trying new things and have hardly any fears that hold me back. I guess I'm adaptable.
I'm super active and love working out, whether it's hitting the gym, or going kayaking or rock climbing. I like to stay healthy by eating well, and I'm always down to try a new vegan meal. ;)
PHILOSOPHY
Life simply, so others can simply live.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love being able to meet people in different cities. I've surfed in Russia and Finland, but haven't had a chance to host anyone yet in California. We're now officially moved into our new condo and would love to offer someone our couch or airbed.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So I went to New York for Spring Break last February with two friends of mine. It was our first time in the Big Apple, and we decided to check out a bar on one of our last nights there. It was chill downstairs, but upstairs there was a crazy party going on and people seemed to keep coming and going. A sign said something about "Couch Surfing" but we had no idea what that meant. But soon enough, two very drunk guys stumbled down and started chatting with us, and we soon learned what it was. I ended up learning how to salsa dance with one of them that night and saw an awesome view of NY from his apartment rooftop. The other guy seemed to pass out drunk, and he was visiting from Italy with his gf.
Anyway, it was a great introduction to the whole Couch Surfing community, and I was intrigued ever since because I love to travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I ate guinea pig in Peru. So gross.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to teach learn and share everything. But I'll settle for sharing some delicious Peruvian food with you, learning how to speak your language, and teaching you how to get a perfect parking spot no matter where you go.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share some hilarious inside stories about how folksy granolas live in Canada, how Russian families really behave behind closed doors, and what it's truly like living under the California Sun.
