About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to go back in time and meet Socrates (and learn ancient Greek), but since science has not yet produced a time machine, my second tier mission is to find a way to travel across the world for a living.

ABOUT ME

I am primarily a photography nerd with a love of traveling. I also love movies and have helped make one or two, thanks to my friends at Troma Entertainment. Other than that, I am 23 years old, out of college two years and trying to find a full time job in a terrible economy that isn't soul crunching. When I am not taking photographs, either for fun or pay,
I am generally doing something involved with film. Besides helping my Troma friends, I am also a production assistant on television and commercials.

PHILOSOPHY

Live in the present and lead the life you want. To enjoy life, not only is good for you but good for those around you, especially those you care about. However, it is important to realize that to truly enjoy life, you should not only care whether you are happy but that those around you are happy.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books (by author): Kurt Vonnegut, Albert Camus, Khalil Gibran, Hermann Hesse, Jack Kerouac, Elie Wiesel.
There is so much music, but if I had to pick now: all of Bob Dylan, Architecture in Helsinki (In Case We Die), Fleet Foxes (Fleet Foxes), The Wilderness of Manitoba (When You Left the Fire), JJ Cale (Naturally), Mississippi Fred McDowell, John Hurt, The Beatles, David Bowie, Johnny Cash, Neil Young, and more.
My favorite kinds of movies are: 80s horror like Evil Dead and The Thing, Silent Films like The Kid or The Crowd.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This seems like a very self-serving section, but I will try not deny my potential readers from a story or two.
I'd say the most amazing thing off the bat, is going up to Niagara Falls to make a feature film which is now being shown in festivals across Europe and North America and will soon be shown in theaters!
The second most amazing thing I've done, is move to Bologna, Italy for a few months and travelled throughout Italy, most of Europe and even got as far as Istanbul and Morocco!
I've witnessed the sun rise over San Francisco and set over New York City. I've watched the stampede in Calgary, and seen the waves crash over the beaches in Cozumel. I've camped in Yellowstone and Arcadia national parks and got drunk on Bourbon Street.
There are more things, but I think thats enough for now.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could pretend to know things and pretend that you will listen, but if there is one thing I know is that you will not listen to anyone but yourself, unless of course this advice works with whatever your telling yourself in which case go ahead!

Oh, and try not to hurt anyone on the way!
