About Me

ABOUT ME

Well I'd guess they'd say that I'm friendly (I hope) and easy to get along with. Also fun, if you're a student as I am then it is literally impossible to not be fun in some way as that is really your main motivation.

Interests

I love music and playing guitar, it is a real passion of mine and I still believe that my guitar is the best and most important thing I own. As I'm English I love football and, being a Londoner, can justifiably say that I am a Chelsea fan (Champions of Europe!) without sounding like a glory-hunter i.e. a Man United fan.
As I'm a student I love to go out and drink. I believe that drinking is both a great way to socialise and an even better way to have some fun, though of course moderation in certain times is necessary.
Another hobby would be reading and writing, a generic one I know. On a rainy day, when you're a bit tired and have just come back from work or lectures then it's just nice to sit down have a coffee or tea and just read a great book. I'm currently working my way through Crime & Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevsky which is just enlightening.
This ties in somewhat to my degree I'm doing at university, History, as I have an avid interest in Russian history, most especially the revolutionary and civil war period as it is, in my mind, a unique and nigh on incomprehensible time that can't help but fascinate and engage me.
Oh, and I also am a bit of a film buff (but I've said too much so I'll leave it at that)!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not really a moment but my first year at university was just a magical and intoxicating time that still leaves me with a delighted smile on my face when I think about it.
Being at the Nuremberg Christmas market where you are literally surrounded by the embodiment of Christmas; the beautiful little stalls, the bratwurst in rolls, the gluhwein, the little decorations, the church in the background, the bubbling atmosphere, the sights, smells and tastes, they all just combined to form a magical moment (which I get to experience every two years)!
