Brooklyn-ite turned Varanasi-ite! Have lived all over the world, and am now (semi) settled in India, running a hostel and curating travel experiences for people! While living in Varanasi, I have also gained a community of local friends & family, so anthropologically/ethnographically studying Indian culture and identity on the daily. Obsessed with old films, yummy food, and political discussions~ come hang out!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have a pretty unique perspective being an outsider, a foreigner, in Varanasi- due to my local community, I have experienced this city in a way not all travelers get to, and I would therefore love to share that with new travelers! Let's try to learn more about this city little by little- the grit, identity, contradiction, everything.
