Taking the path less traveled; if it was easy, everyone would do it!
I have been living in Chico for about 6 years now. I am coming up quickly to the end of my degree and am looking beyond this wonderful, small city to continue the pursuit of something that will help as many people as possible. Not sure what that is yet but I'll get back to you when I figure it out.
I love the outdoors. Camping, hiking, bike riding. Basically anything that involves as few advertisements as possible. In my humble opinion, advertisements are about as bad for your brain as crack.
Something someone far wiser than I once told me:
"The more you learn, the less you know."
Something someone else far wiser than I once told me:
"Weed will get you through times of no money far better than money will get you through times of no weed."
(this is not saying I use weed, please read it philosophically)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am new to this whole couch surfing thing but there is no time like the present to get started!
I love the music scene, though I've not had as much time as I'd like to enjoy it. I also love to cook and eat good food as well as visit local farmers' markets.
I am also a bit nerdy at heart and love mathematics and reading.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like music that is interesting. This includes bluegrass, classical, dubstep, metal (everything from thrash to doom), fusion, sligo (Irish music), and many, many others. Pretty much anything that isn't pop music, I'm game for.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I left my heart in Costa Rica.
