About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find old friends and make new ones.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 23 year old biomedical engineering student. I study at the University of Auckland but am in the US until september 15th. I'm a musician, avid reader and complete video game geek in my spare time. I also love to windsurf/surf and am learning to sail.

I love to meet new people, drink beer or coffee and chat.

PHILOSOPHY

Still nebulous, in the process of being born.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I found the site trying to catch up with my Bolivian host family in Washington D.C. Who unfortunately have no space for me here and I'm too poor to afford D.C. hotels. I also think it's a fantastic idea and would be keen to support people who visit NZ.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All the couch surfing I've done has been with close friends around NZ while on tour with my band. Would like to get some more international flavor in my couch surfing stories.

Interests

Windsurfing, surfing, music, reading, computer games, engineering.

Music, Movies, and Books

One Hundred Years of Solitude, Ender's Game, many many more. Animal collective and Modest Mouse are my favourite artists. Movies I'll watch almost anything, really liked Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Science of Sleep.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

High in the altiplano on a hilltop watching a storm being held back by the andes.

Teach, Learn, Share

Recently started teaching windsurfing, found it to be awesome fun, so we can hire the cheap gear without the lessons and I can teach. Also a bit of guitar and how to control a motor in a cardiac muscle tissue-testing rig.
