About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Not to simply exist, but to live

ABOUT ME

All about me, well, I guess I'm a guy who always wanted to make his life interesting. As soon as I started to earn money on my own I decided that I'd rather spend it on traveling and experiencing new stuff, than on food and booze. Not that I abandoned booze altogether, after all I'm russian, have to keep up with shallow stereotypes. Anyway, what is life about, if not about courage and going into the unknown? Ok, I got that last quote from Walter Mitty, but it pretty much sums up how I feel about it, what I want to do. And so, here I am.

PHILOSOPHY

In 30 or 40 years I want to be able to look back and realize I didn't screw up too much in my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Star Wars, LotR, The Matrix, every single movie with Harrison Ford and, for some reason, Liam Neeson, and a few hundred more.
Music: Old-school rock like Zeppelin, Sabbath, Guns'n'Roses, AC/DC, WASP, Ratt, all that.
Books: Good ones. Sci-Fi, most of King's work, oh and biographies, those are always fun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've piloted a plane, stood on a cliff above the clouds, and didn't doze off once during Zakk Wylde's 40 minute guitar solo.

Teach, Learn, Share

Did you know, that Kyoto is an anagram of Tokyo? I guess they ran out of ideas.
Also, hey, it's only an hour's ride to space if your car can move up.
For more interesting, but utterly useless facts mail me.
