I'm currently on a journey through the Middle East and Eastern Europe for the summer. Through Couchsurfing I see sides of cities, cultures and people I would never be able to on my own.
I have a degree in International Political Economy from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. After working some more I'd like to save up for a year long trip to Asia.
My Past Trips:
I went on a few road trips that introduced me to couchsurfing but it wasn't until I worked for Alaska Airlines during the last half of 2013 that I really began to travel meaningfully. Flying standby on my days off I was able to see a lot of the US and Mexico in a short amount of time. In the summer of 2014 I flew to Mexico City for what was supposed to be a two month trip through Central America. 10 months later I flew home from Lima, Peru. It was the best and most meaningful 10 months of my life!
Life is too short to be taken seriously but it's also too short to not be taken seriously. Libertarian.
