Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here because I am learning Chinese, I really love this language even though it brutalises me...I'm a linguistic masochist? Anyway, I am going to be in Shanghai doing an internship from January the 7th until Feb the 2nd and I would love to meet new people. :)

Music: Amy Winehouse, Lana Del Rey, Frank Ocean, Sufjan Stevens and okay....I love a bit of k-pop (can't stop, won't stop)...EXO M are also great and easy on the eye.

Movies: I really like Lost in Translation...oh, and Blue is the Warmest Colour and Chungking Express...I watched a lovely Chinese film recently too, called the 'Summer Palace'.

Books: The Secret History, Monkey Grip, NW, Not That Kind of Girl, Holding the Man, The Goldfinch, I know Why the Caged Bird Sings and on and on and on.
