About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is simple. Personal growth through new experiences and friendships.

ABOUT ME

I believe the energy you put into the world is the energy you see come back to you. I like to think that my energy is positive, curious, and enthusiastic. After traveling to Chile in March 2014, I was inspired to explore different cultures and expand my experiences beyond my current boundaries. I believe the best conversations happen when you have an open mind and that everyday should include laughter. I appreciate a good glass of cabernet, a classic record and uplifting, positive company. Always willing to try new things, I'm eager to broaden my horizons and explore the beauty in the unique corners of life.

PHILOSOPHY

"The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun."

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: "Ishmael" by Daniel Quinn, "Just Kids" by Patti Smith, "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

Music: I have a very diverse taste in music, but would say I most enjoy rock (The Beatles, Portugal. The Man), folk (Mumford & Sons, Bob Dylan) and Indie rock (Animal Collective, Vampire Weekend).

Movies: The Truman Show, various documentaries, romantic comedies (obviously).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done is pick up and move to New York City. The people I have met and the opportunities I have been given are incredible and such a blessing to my life.

The most amazing thing I've seen is Chile's Atacama Desert.

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe that each conversation and activity presents a new and unique opportunity to both teach others, as well as learn from them.

More specifically,
Teach: I can definitely teach you to cook!
Share: I am excited to share stories, beliefs, advice and memories with others I meet along my journey.

Countries I’ve Visited

Chile, Laos, Thailand, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
