.. a revelation per minute!
I'm an enthusiast in most things I do; and the things that don't excite me all the way and get me all euphoric, well.. I tend to drop them, so this kinda goes both ways. People usually love me or hate me and that's more or less how I function as well so I guess I can't complain!
I'm an optimist, so I'll never give up on trying to find a bright side to everything.
I love music and will be glad to torture you with my weird taste if you allow me; I love art, history, reading, getting to dig myself in nature as soon as I can manage to, getting fired-up and sweaty at a concert as well as laying back with a cold one in my hand and a good conversation. I love laughing and never get tired of it.
I love animals and the ones I prefer, in the end, are people, who never get me tired!
All is hardcore when made with love.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I participate by believing.
I believe change starts with wanting it, and wanting it for real: that's the first step and realizing it's time to get out of our heads and do it, with our hands and with our hearts.
I've hosted many times and many wonderful people, although most of them were couchsurfers who didn't realize that's what they're called; I've gained a lot and hope I managed to also give something back.
travel, photography, music, cinema, literature, environmental awareness, social and gender politics, language and linguistics, and generally being as happy a camper as I can.
Music, Movies, and Books
you name it, if I ain't heard of it, I'll probably wanna give it a try.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Saving two drunk Aussies from getting arrested on a Polish square in the middle of the night. Discovering, the following day and those to come, that you can come across amazing people in the least likely ways.
Teach, Learn, Share
I speak more or less 6 launguages.. plus Latin and Piedmontese, my local Italian dialect. I have a personal interest in linguistics in general so I'm always ready to rant on about it. Glad to impart on anybody willing!
I can cook - and teach - some kick-ass Italian recipes; now experimenting with vegetarian/vegan stuff.
I am a (self-appointed) master at backgammon, always happy to make new converts; don't have a board? don't worry, we can probably build one with less of a hassle than you'd think.
