Survive the summer travelling until I make it home!
I'm a 23 year old queer girl living in Montreal, QC but travelling around Canada for the summer. I study anthropology during the school year and work on/volunteer for a bunch of different little things when I have the time or during the summer. I've mostly been involved in youth organizing and urban ecology recently but am interested almost all far-left politics.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
i'm new here!
Lots of amazing future ones I hope.
I'm a pretty social person so I try to spend lots of time with my family and friends when I can but like everyone I also need my alone time. Alone time is spent exploring, meditating, watching movies/cartoons and reading.
I don't go out crazy partying a ton but getting rowdy can be fun a couple times a month. I like going to house parties (esp the dress up kind!), LOVE karaoke and try to go to as many shows as possible when I can afford it.
I also try to go camping and be outside as much as possible. I can walk around cities or nature for hours and end and do so often. Exploring on foot or by bike is my favourite way to discover a city, regional/national park or countryside.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm super into all kinds of film and animation. Esp. horror, indie, anime and cartoons (Adventure Time and My Little Pony!). The last movie I saw was Moonrise Kindgom and I loved it.
Musically I'm mostly into electro/dream pop, punk/folk punk, noise, folk/experimental folk and anything loud.
I'll read pretty much anything but I'm especially addicted to sci-fi, young adult fantasy and zines of all kinds. My favourite book is One Hundred Years of Solitude.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
10-day silent Vipassana meditation retreat! Hardest thing I've ever done.
