About Me
ABOUT ME
I am currently applying to grad school and (hopefully!) I will be completing clinical internships and traveling along the way. I am a super curious person who loves to explore, but a little shy. Genuine people are good at getting me out of my shell, and I love meeting new people and getting to explore new communities.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I actually have only couchsurfed while getting my anthropologist on. For a creative non-fiction course, I stayed with a popular couchsurfing host in town who taught me to juggle and build a teepee!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies:
Amelie, Love Actually, Miyazaki films, Mel Brooks films, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Bringing Up Baby, Parenthood, etc. etc.
Music:
You know, I think my music and book taste are about as eclectic as my movies. Um, not hip-hop? But almost anything else.
Books:
Anything by Ray Bradbury, Isabel Allende, or Sarah Dessen
Some with a huge impact: Unbearable Lightness of Being, Walden II, Jonathan Livingston Seagull, Harry Potter (cliche, I know), The Remains of the Day
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ooo, I'm pretty amazed at everything, honestly.
Highlights:
Getting to see the Haitian/Dominican border market was pretty wild. Walking up Mt. Vesuvius and seeing the bay. Worked on a livestock farm for a few months was an awesome kind of challenging.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've been teaching myself to cook, slowly, so I may have picked up something interesting.
I've been trying bread baking!
I took martial arts classes for years, and some of that philosophy and muscle memory has stuck with me.
