About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Moving from OH to CA in June. Hoping to meet some people along the way!
ABOUT ME
I'm 23. I'm an RN. I have many hobbies, I'm adequate in everything, but no specialty. I spend my time: crafting, sewing, cooking, playing music, hiking, adventuring. I'm pretty laid back. Just enjoying the post-college/pre-marriageandkids time of my life. I'm in love my my dog, Boo Radley. A little 6 lb chihuahua with the spirit of a great dane. Moving this summer from Ohio to California to finally live in the same state as my family. I've been living on my own for 5 years now. I like to think I'm a mature, independant 23, but some people may differ in opinion. Haha. Looking forward to traveling and hopefully will get to make a real adventure of it and meet some great people along the way.
PHILOSOPHY
"Whatever happens, happens." I'm open to a lot of things and different views of life. I find it all fascinating. I tend to take little pieces of all of them and try to incorporate the best of all into my life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I joined a long time ago once. Never hosted or been hosted, but I'm hoping this will be the start to a long CS relationship. Once I move I'm getting a house and there will be plenty of room for tons of visitors.
Interests
Creating things: anything from jewelry to fanny packs (haha) to clothing and home decor. Playing music: I play a couple instruments, I'm not especially good at any of them. I've recently picked up cooking, it's not to-die-for, but I'm proud of it. I love adventuring, hiking, and exploring. Sadly, in Toledo, OH there isn't much of that to do around here. When I move, that will most definitely change. Also, I'm learning Spanish right now. El perro es pequeno? Haha.

Music, Movies, and Books
I mostly read non-fiction books of people's experiences and biography-type books. I have a weird sort of obsession with self-help books, although I don't think I really need help, and none of them have actually helped. I just find them motivating and interesting to read. Oh, and middle school era books: Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, and any reading that is required my middle schoolers. Easy to read and a delightful way to pass time.
I like most movies.
I listen to most music, but right now I'm definitely on a modern, folk band type kick.
