Hello there!

I'm Alex and I'm a pretty great dude looking for a place to sleep and socialize. I'm a drummer, writer, and wanderer with a deep appreciation for film and Celtics basketball.

I love coffee milk, stale Peeps, and fluffernutter sandwiches. The feeling of velvet makes me nauseous and I haven't eaten an egg since I learned how to use a fork. I can make your car's steering wheel sound like a finely tuned timpani, and I know every word to your favorite hip-hop song, guaranteed. I can't swim or bend three of my toes, but I have a cool slight Rhode Island accent and make the best baked mac and cheese you've ever had.

I'm passionate about travel and assume that since you're reading this you are too. Let's do what people of shared interests do, and collaborate...on adventure!! Ugh.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a surprisingly good cook and love to commandeer the kitchen for the night. I'd gladly share some recipes and I even enjoy doing dishes. Popular items: Ribs, baked mac and cheese, stir-fry.

I've been giving drum lessons since I was 17 years old, so if you've been meaning to learn something about the skins, I'm your guy. I've also got Berklee under my belt, so I'd be happy to dole out any music tutoring at all.

I'm a very enthusiastic writer! I studied journalism for two years and spend a lot of my free time chipping away at my second screenplay or coming up with new short story ideas. If you'd like to collaborate on a work during our time together, I'd be ecstatic.

My interest in film and video finally caught up to me and I bought a camera very recently. If anyone has any experience with cameras, I'd love to learn a few tricks to get on my way.
