ABOUT ME

I am shy at first, but with each conversation I become more open and personable. I am a psychology student and have a non-judgmental personality and get along with most everyone :) I am laid back, but I have expectations based on basic respect for human kind; I do not like to have my expectations broken and will likely voice any concern before it becomes an issue. (I've learned you can only be passive to a point).
Although I am a woman, I get along with men most often..I'm not too sure why, although it may be a sense of humour thing...
Some people refer to me as a purist or a hippy but I am very flexible and would never thrust my thoughts or opinions on someone who does not want to hear them.

Interests

I am a photographer, a family enthusiast and an animal lover.
I am not religious but I could be considered 'enlightened' in modern views; or quite basically: treat others as you wish to be treated.
I love to travel and it is hard to keep me in one place..even here at home I live in the middle of everything and am always in a different town. I enjoy making friends everywhere I go so I will always have a reason to come back!
I am focused on my schooling and life goals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One moment I will never forget was when I was 15: I was in Turkey with my uncle, who arranged for me to go on a horse riding venture. This was a group walk around the local farm lands, but one of the stable boys (knowing I had experience riding) took me off on a different tour. We ended up along side a vineyard with a cliff that allowed us to see the village and landscape for miles! We cantered for what felt like forever until we met up with the others to watch the sunset over the valley :) Magical

Ok..so I am lame and dont need to go far because water leaves me breathless all the time. As a photographer some of my favourite moments in life are watching the sunset over oceans, lakes, rivers, ponds. Two times come to mind: Here in Ontario in a small town where I used to go to school there is a dam where I watched a family of beavers and many birds coming out of winter mode until the sunset among the marshes. And in Mexico, earlier this year..waves taller than me crashing along the beach.. I was taking photos of the waves and the sunset but got too carried away and going out too far a wave almost knocked me over, camera and all!!
