To be an entrepreneur for the people
The book I'm currently working on is called Altrupreneurs. It's about people under the age of 40 who created financial freedom and use wealth responsibly. They define wealth not by their net worth but by the amount of free time in their life to focus on personal development, networking, public interest, scientific research, consumer advocacy, sustainability, environmentalism, community-building, arts & the humanities, volunteering, to other social endeavors. They all live simple, ecologically-friendly lifestyles and feel that the training and experience that comes from living an entrepreneurial lifestyle is one of the best forms of preparation to be an effective and innovative leader for social change on both a local and a systematic level.
Life is about relationships, giving, and following your bliss!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I basically just hate hotels. They're bland and impersonal. I love bed & breakfasts and I love getting to know people and crashing with friends! It's also sad to ever think of a couch go to waste on any given night. I guess my sense is that this is all about karma -- my home is open to friends and new friends passing through and in exchange, I have no doubt that there are other like-minded folks out there with the same open heart!
I feel like right now my apartment is a bed & breakfast at times! People come over and visit a lot. My girlfriend and I live together and we enjoy hosting people.
building socially conscious communities, reliniquishing ego, authenticity, living simply, anonymous philanthropy, public interest, consumer rights, environmentalism, sociology of Higher Education, PresidioMBA.org, General Semantics, Yoga, zaadz.com, clairvoyance, nonprofit leadership, venture capital, investing, rock climbing, hiking, skydiving, eating as little meat as possible, peace, and looking for the good in everyone.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a huge South Park fan and other shows on Comedy Central like The Daily Show & The Colbert Report. I like educational documentaries like "Who Killed the Electric Car" and "Why We Fight" to fiction films like "The Matrix" and "Waking Life." Music, it's mostly dance / electronic / techno on my iPod. And books? That would be a long list ... I'm sure we'll get to know each other!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'd love to hear your stories, too! Let's talk in person.
Teach, Learn, Share
My book is about life design, social responsibility and entrepreneurship. The goal of the book is to get you financially free so that you can choose not to work, live a simple lifestyle, and dedicate your life to social justice and volunteerism but on your terms. If that's your calling, let's talk.
