ABOUT ME

I am almost 25. I have lived in Lima, Peru, all my life. I am a bachelor in Business Administration with a specialty in Finance. Thus, I work in a bank.

But my real interest lies in the written word: I read almost everyday (my hope is to read someday 52 books a year. My current record lies in 24-25) and I write in a daily basis. Not poems, not novels or tales. Just random things that cross my mind.

I love the sea (I am a Pisces). During all my life I have gone to the sea to discover its mysteries. I haven't yet discover any, but I will live and die trying.

I have an insatiable curiosity. I want to know about everything. The world is so marvelous that it is an honor to learn how it works.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just arrive to CS. Currently, I cannot host anyone, but I am very interested in helping people who come to Lima have a good time and, in the proccess, meeting interesting people. Also, I want to travel to new places and meet more people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to CS. I am looking for a place to visit in my 25th birthday (March 2010) in South America. Hopefully after that I have a CS experience to tell.

Interests

I am interested first of all in stories. I love reading and writing. But just hearing a good story pumps my heart so much. I consider my mission to accumulate as many stories as posible and then capture them in written words.
My second interest is the sea. It is not an interest per se, it is unconditional love. I live for the sea. I am just learning how to surf, but I want to practice so much that I can then go looking for the perfect wave.
My other interests are music, walking or just laying in the middle of nowhere talking to youyr friends about nothing at all (or everything, it is just a matter of perspective).

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Reggae (almost anything), Dancehall, Trova (Silvio Rodriguez), some random songs I heard somewhere

Movies: Face/off, Amelie, Spirited Away, Mononoke Hime, District 9, Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction... That are some that I can remember. In reality, as I love stories so much, I can fall in love with any movie that catches my attention.

Books: Any fantasy book (Tolkien in the first place), Mario Vargas Llosa, Jose Saramago, "Caballo de Troya" by JJ Benitez. Lately, Stieg Larson and his Millenium Trilogy.
