About Me

Hello, I'm not actually that new to coach surfing , I deactivated my account whilst I went traveling myself but could not activate it again so hence starting a new account! I have previously hosted couchsurfers from Italy, America, Hongkong, Turkey & Barbados and loved every minute. I usually travel abroad once a month as I love seeing parts of different countries that tourists don't usually see, I try to avoid main tourist spots and like to eat in and walk about where the locals go! I run my own employment coach business to help job seekers of all ages find work, help those wanting a career change, I give interview technique training and job search strategy advice.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people from all over the world and sharing travel stories and experiences, of which I have many! I usually go abroad once a month so I'm never short of a tale to tell ( good or bad!) :-) I am always on the look out for somewhere new to go and would love any suggestions.

I understand that when your are traveling time can be precious so would love to help you make the most of your time and point you in the right direction for things to see and do. I also understand traveling can bring a lot of time to kill so will also be happy to keep you entertained!

I can no longer have couch surfers stay at my townhouse for free as it began to get me into debt with the high number of guests and cost of household bills in England but I will be happy to show you around the local sites and give you some tips. If you are looking for a bed, you can send me a message on airbnb where we now sadly charge a small amount to stay in the townhouse. https://www.airbnb.co.uk/s/Billingshurst?source=mob&room_types%5B%5D=Private+room&s_tag=ZHI5w4bf

London is soooo expensive and staying with us will show you the real English way of life but with easy fast train access into central London (1 hour) enjoy London without the high accommodation prices!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Romanian dance music Movie: anything historical or true
Book: anything factual (now I sound boring!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are far too many to mention! One that sticks out in my mind is that I once survived being on a sinking boat in the Indian Ocean! :-)

Teach, Learn, Share

I will be delighted to share some tradition English dishes, including the famous English Afternoon tea with all the trimmings :-) And of course take you for a good old British pint in the local pub if you like.

We are in a little English village in a fab part of the English countryside so perfect if you want to experience the traditional English life but with the hustle of London on your doorstep too. The train station is 10 steps away from the house so no carting your bags through fields!
