2024 Updates: I live in Venezia for a research project. Happy to meet up with new friends in Venezia!

Hi I'm Alicia, or you can call me Lu and I'm a Chinese New Zealander! I have been living in both NZ and China for about 10 years. I can speak English, Chinese, and I've lived in Germany and Norway before so I speak a little German and Norwegian. Now I am learning Italian.

I am an architecture researcher, teacher and practicing architect. I am also a photographer occasionally. I started to use Couchsurfing 10 years ago and have made so many friends across the world. Lately I'm back and hope to continue using this platform.

I would love to meet more locals on my way travelling. I cook Asian food. And I can give you some photo shoots as exchange! Looking forward to see you :)
