ABOUT ME

I love reading and traveling.. I like nature, hiking, walking and enjoying the landscape..I also like visiting historical places and National Parks. I like taking millions of pictures and making videos of my trips.
I am easygoing and friendly and I am definitely eager to learn about other cultures, particularly get to know other people.
I am married, but my husband is in Argentina. I'll see him in May when I go back to my country.I don't have babies yet. Even though I am married, I am not the "housewife type",I don't cook very often.. but I like to have my room tidy and clean.
I am trying to make the most of my American experience, before going back to earth, and to work, in my country! I hope to learn and really understand about American people, culture and ideas!!!!!

PHILOSOPHY

I came to America through the Fulbright Scholarship to teach my language, Spanish, while I take classes at the University... I really want to learn about this country and to have a better idea of how you live! It's a great sacrifice for me since my family and my husband are waiting for me in my country, so I can go on with my family development plans.. I want to be a good teacher and a better wife (future mother)... and help people around me.

Books... I read everything! my favorite is Pride and Prejudice but I am used to reading anything since my MA is in Literature.
Music: Coldplay, the best.. Latin Music... varied (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Norah Jones, Madonna...anything!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seen.... The Statue of Liberty, was very significant and symbolic for me...also LOTS OF SNOW!!!!! (not so common in my country)
Done.... mmmm nothing that amazing... yet!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am ready to teach people about my country, my language and also I'm ready to share my views on the world..I expect the same! I hope I can find people interested in learning about South America, so I can break the false stereotypes about us!
